These Adult Sunday School started January 4th but are ongoing.
Quiet Strength--Men’s Bible Study
What does it mean to be a man? There are many stereotypes—the man’s man or the sensitive type. Truth is, men move back and forth between both ends of the spectrum in their daily lives—each time experiencing a tensions between what’s expected and who they authentically are. Using Tony Dungy’s book, Quiet Strength, we will connect with others in more authentic ways and explore the following questions: What’s my game plan? Where’s my strength? What’s success? Where’s my security? What’s my significance? What’s my legacy?
The class will be lead by Doug Donovan, Bruce Collins and Scott Mack. The class will meet in Room 209.
Discovering Your Gifts
God uniquely and wonderfully creates all of us. Join the Discovering Your Gifts class to assist you with identifying, developing and using your unique God given gifts to the glory of God at church, the community, your home and the workplace. This class will be lead by Sharon Brooks. The class will meet in Room 210.
Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference?
What is prayer? How does it work? And more importantly, does it work? This class will explore and experience one of the most fundamental, challenging and deeply rewarding aspects of our relationship with God. This class will be led by Danielle Kosanovich, Roger Talbert and Pastor Brooks and meet in the choir room.
Cash, Bling and Generous Living
(High School Students ONLY)
Cha-Ching! Everyday we make decisions about money—Do I spend? Do I save? Does God really want me to tithe? Join us in the HS room as we explore the role of money in our culture, our call to be generous with our treasure and even learn a few practical tips to help us manage the money we do have! This class is led by Lynn & Roger Kurtz, Lynn Rogers and Jay Smith. The class meets in the HS Room.
The Voice of God
Join us as we continue to study how God has moved in history. This winter, our class will focus on 1 & 2 Kings and explore the reign and call of Solomon, Elijah, Elisha and much more! This class is led by a variety of teachers and meets in the west fellowship hall
Your Choice Small Group
Looking for a place to connected to others and God in a small setting—join the “your choice” small group. This group spends time in prayer for one another and spends time sharing how God is working in their lives. The group will study a variety of topics this winter including—the birth narratives and tools for studying the bible. This group meets in Room 102.
